Project Vainiolla is a solo piano concept by composer and pianist Kalle Vainio. For this project I worked as a recording engineer and a mixer.
The sound was created by using up to four different pianos and layering them in the mix. As the pianos were the only instruments recorded, the sonic character and impact had to be built merely from piano sounds.
